ADI launches power detector ADL5504

ADI recently introduced a new integrated device ADL5504 designed for 3G and 4G mobile terminals. The ADL5504 is a TruPwr (TM) average response (true root mean square) power detector that can be used in high-frequency receiver and transmitter signal chains with frequencies ranging from 450MHz to 6000MHz. This detector only needs to operate from a single 2.5V to 3.3V power supply and consumes less than 1.8mA. The input is internally AC-coupled with a rated input impedance of 500 ohms. The RMS output is a linear DC voltage with a conversion gain of 1.87V / V RMS at 900MHz. The ADL5504's on-chip modulation filter can provide sufficient averaging for most waveforms. For more complex waveforms, an external capacitor can be connected at the filter pin for auxiliary signal demodulation. The series resistance on the 100-ohm chip at the output and the external parallel capacitor will produce a low-pass filter response, which can effectively reduce the residual ripple in the DC output voltage. The ADL5504 has excellent temperature stability in the 30dB range, and has a measurement error close to 0dB at the upper end of the dynamic range over the entire temperature range. In addition to temperature stability, the performance of the ADL5504 is minimally affected by the process, which further reduces the complexity of calibration. The rated operating temperature range of the ADL5504 is -40 degrees Celsius to +85 degrees Celsius.

Quotation, supply and supporting products

The ADL5504 is available in a 0.8x1.2mm WLCSP package and is available for delivery. The price for a 1,000-piece order is $ 3 / piece. In addition to RMS power detectors, ADI also has a wide range of products for mobile terminals, including MEMS accelerometers, audio amplifiers, HDMI interfaces, lens drive devices, power management, and audio switches.

ADI ’s RF IC products cover the entire RF signal link. ADI ’s radio frequency (RF) ICs, which use a unique combination of design skills, system understanding, and process technology, cover the entire RF signal link. These products integrate industry-leading high-performance RF function modules, as well as provide highly integrated WiMAX and short-range single-chip transceiver solutions. RF functional modules include direct digital frequency synthesizer (DDS), phase-locked loop synthesizer (PLL); TruPwr (TM) RF power detector and logarithmic amplifier, X-AMP (R) variable gain amplifier (VGA); power Amplifiers (PA), low noise amplifiers (LNA) and other RF amplifiers, mixers, and direct conversion modulator and demodulator products.

Intermediate Frequency AC Power Supplies

The IFP series is AC Power Supplies with a constant 400Hz output frequency and adjustable output voltage, based on the same technical principle as the adjustable AC power supplies of SPWM method, IGBT module design and D/A conversion technology. The difference is that the output frequency of the Intermediate Frequency AC Power Supplies is constant at 400 Hz, it is a replacement product of unit type variable frequency power supplies with higher output frequency accuracy and stability.

5kva Ac Power Supply

According to the difference in the number of output phases, the Intermediate Frequency AC Power Supplies can be divided into single-phase and three-phase Intermediate Frequency AC power supplies.
The output power of single-phase Intermediate Frequency AC Power Supplies ranges from 500VA to 200KVA, and the output power of three-phase Intermediate Frequency AC Power Supplies ranges from 3KVA to 600KVA. The output voltage of both types can be divided into 0 ~ 150Vac, 150 ~ 300Vac with 400Hz fixed output frequency. This series of AC power supplies are featured for high precision, stable output, high display resolution, low waveform distortion and complete protection functions.

Through the friendly operation panel, you can read the output data such as output voltage, output current, output power, power factor, etc., providing accurate data records for your test, and can add RS485 interfaces as standard, following the MODBUS-RTU international communication protocol, which can realize remote control and operating status monitoring of the power supplies, Currently, the Intermediate Frequency AC Power Supplies are mainly used for aircraft and mechanical equipment, radar, navigation and other military electronic equipment and other occasions that require 400Hz intermediate frequency output.
