This DC lamp dimmer is used to control flat incandescent lights above 100W in trucks. Use it instead of the high-power varistor box that was originally used. The variable resistance box often makes the surface of the instrument panel black due to heat.
The DC light dimmer is shown in the figure, which consists of a low frequency oscillator, a field effect regulator and an overload protection circuit.
