The report consists of four parts, the urgency and feasibility of the development of electric bus; how to improve the safety and reliability of power batteries.

The urgency and feasibility of developing electric buses. Fuel buses have become an important source of pollution in large and medium-sized cities. It is also necessary to substitute electricity for oil and reduce dependence on imported oil; reducing greenhouse gas emissions and fulfilling the Chinese government’s international commitments are all current urgency. . The bus structure of the bus is convenient for the transformation of electric vehicles. My understanding of the development of electric vehicles is now a technical problem that has been solved. It is technically not a big problem because buses can provide relatively large and spacious layouts for batteries. This makes it easier to adjust the focus of all aspects; and in actual operation, the longest running of buses has been running for more than four years, and there is really not much problem. If you use a small car, there are still many problems that need to be solved. Some have already gone fast and have done a lot of solutions.

One of the key issues here is that the depot is working on battery factories. The higher the density of batteries is, the better it is. Now the battery that is suitable for automobiles has the highest density of more than seven kilograms. If it can reach two kilograms or three kilograms, it will be charged once. The vehicle will run for five or six hundred kilometers like a fuel car, but it is a pity that the battery could not be achieved. In fact, the battery company dragged back the electric car. Fixed-line centralized operation, convenient management and maintenance of public transportation; centralized construction of infrastructure, centralized use and maintenance, which is now the main reason for the operation of electric buses.

How to improve the safety and reliability of power trains? Actually, batteries can be used in batteries for electric vehicles. My understanding is four major categories. Because the battery has accounted for more than 90% of the market share so far is the four major categories, the first is the lead-acid battery, has more than 100 years of production history; the other is a nickel-cadmium battery, nickel-metal hydride battery, lithium-ion battery. A lead-acid battery needs 40 kilograms for one degree of power storage; a nickel-cadmium battery requires 30 kilograms for a one-time charge; a nickel-metal hydride battery requires 20 kilograms for a one-time charge, and a lithium-ion battery needs 10 kilograms for a one-time charge. At present, we must base our efforts on existing batteries to say things. The best battery available is the level of eight kilograms and nine kilograms of stored electricity. However, it is also a lithium-ion battery. The cathode material used so far is not the same. Lithium cobaltate, lithium manganate, lithium nickel-cobalt-manganese oxide, lithium iron phosphate, and lithium iron phosphate have relatively low capacity, and the voltage platform is relatively low. The cycle life is longer, the high temperature performance is better, and the low temperature performance is relatively poor. The so-called low-temperature performance is that all lithium-ion batteries will not be able to charge below zero; the safety performance is the best, the price is normal, what is the so-called general? Lithium iron phosphate is composed of more than 40 elements, if long-term For high-volume applications, it must be low in price. Now the price is high, because its production process is still more complicated. If there is batch production and continuous production, its price will surely come down; other prices are not necessarily For example, lithium cobalt oxide, because cobalt resources are limited, the larger the volume, the higher the price. Why do we choose lithium iron phosphate? More importantly, we value the safety in the future. The second is the price space, and the price for long-term application can be reduced.

From the perspective of safety, we have chosen the design of the battery. For example, we have chosen lithium-ion batteries and selected lithium iron phosphate as the safest material. However, when designing, lithium-ion batteries are currently popular in six forms. The soft packaging design we chose in this form will make the sealed container more solid. If the internal pressure is high, the danger is greater and there is the possibility of an explosion. The less robust the container, the tighter the seal function, we use The film is very thin, but it is only broken when it is broken.

Another lean liquid design, in our battery can not see the free state of the electrolyte; other like the plastic shell rich liquid design, steel shell rich liquid design, aluminum shell rich liquid design. It is also unsafe to choose the re-safety of design and the rigors of manufacturing. The design is no better, if the control process of intermediate production is not strict, the battery is still unsafe. This piece talks about the production control process. For each production enterprise, the production process is its own business and it should be done well.

The other thing is the safety of the battery. In fact, in this section we have to talk about the use, maintenance and maintenance. Lithium-ion batteries, especially lithium iron phosphate lithium-ion batteries, are theoretically long-lived. We do the actual measurement in the laboratory. The life span of seven or eight thousand batteries is very common. Why is it not enough to put a battery into a car after it is put into a car? If seven or eight thousand times, the converted car should run more than 1 million kilometers. In fact, there is a problem with group technology. Do not represent the battery pack, the battery pack does not represent the vehicle, the electric car needs maintenance and maintenance, how to maintain and maintain? No one knows. Even if you use the maintenance manual, you still need some professional equipment. No one has developed these equipment.

We are now trying to do these things. Our maintenance manual is getting more and more perfect. After perfecting it, we will have a manual for the use, maintenance and maintenance of the entire electric car and electric bus. We can do it in a standardized manner. The longevity will be long, and economics will show. If you do not use it properly, a wrong operation may cause the battery life to terminate immediately. We also have some hopes and suggestions for the development of electric buses. The problems that exist now solve the problem. The so-called one heat is from the industrial chain to the application. The higher the enthusiasm is, the lower the enthusiasm is. My understanding is that application companies don't know enough about electric vehicles. In addition, electric vehicles are also more expensive. If you buy a problem, who is looking for? Another battery is swarming and large-scale car companies are standing on the mountain; the sales price of electric cars is virtual. Gao, just now I said, if you really have a lot, the electric car will not be expensive. It doesn't have expensive reasons. Because the battery is not expensive and the electric machine is not expensive, so the high price is high, because there is no quantity, everyone Want to raise the R & D costs, the higher and higher. Actually, our sales industry is very clear that only if there is quantity, the price will be immediately reduced. If one of the entire industry chain starts, the price will come down.

Local conservatism is not conducive to the success or failure of technology and products. A large part of the subsidies for electric buses are replenished on the batteries. If the money is given to local companies, they may benefit, and they may win the competition. However, after a decade or fifteen years, the number of companies that make electric car batteries will definitely not exceed 50, and now it will exceed 500, and it will be more reasonable to eliminate three or five of them. Now artificially cutting off the market, it will affect the development of the industry and will treat new energy vehicles as traditional cars.

Some of our recommendations urgently introduce battery performance technology standards and establish a fair and transparent market platform to truly achieve survival of the fittest. If the frame is not settled, the battery can't be designed; if you set a frame yourself, this frame will waste a lot of space. Battery performance is the biggest bottleneck restricting the development of electric vehicles. In order to solve the problem of insufficient public finances for local governments, it is recommended that the government support the joint contracting of car companies and advance companies, and the development of leased electric bus lines should be sufficient.
