Mouser Announces Global Distribution Agreement with Powercast

Mouser Electronics is known for its rapid introduction of the latest electronic components and technologies. Today announced the signing of a global distribution agreement with Powercast. Powercast is an innovative company that has made a breakthrough contribution to remote wireless power transmission of micropower devices.

Powercast's Powerharvester receiver collects radio energy (radio waves) and converts it into direct current for low-power applications beyond very long distances. Mouser's now-supplied Powercast P2110 915 MHz Powerharvester receiver provides intermittent energy supply for powerless devices or pulse-bolt batteries. Mouser also stocks the Powercast P1110 915 MHz RF Powerharvester for continuous slow charging or direct power supply.

Mouser also supplies the Powercast Lifetime PowerTM Energy Harvesting Development Kit, which powers wireless sensors, a complete demonstration and development platform for creating RF-free wireless sensor applications. The kit was developed in collaboration with Microchip and includes all components that convert RF energy to DC energy.
