This patent is named "Vehicle Control Action Sequence for Authentication." The user can create a special password via the radio control button or the brake pedal. And if you do not use a password, your car will not start. In other words, the owner can use this kind of radio control button in the future instead of the remote control key with frequent safety issues.
Because after entering the vehicle identification code, hackers can reprogram the vehicle's own security system so that an identical "key" can be used repeatedly, and the hacker can easily clone the key by intercepting the vehicle's key signal. To solve this problem, Ford used a custom system called Brake-Pause Track-Steering Wheel Volume Up-Brake.
