Cree Introduces XLamp XP-G3 LED for Improved Performance

Cree (NASDAQ: CREE ) announces the introduction of the XLampXP-G3 LED , which offers a 31% increase in luminous flux and an 8% improvement in luminous efficiency compared to the current industry-leading XP-G2LED. Thanks to the core elements of the Cree SC5 technology platform, the high-power XP-G3LED further enhances lumen density, voltage characteristics and reliability over previous generations of XP-G products. The superior performance of the XP-G3 helps lighting manufacturers achieve differentiated solutions in applications such as road lighting, outdoor area lighting, and high ceiling lights, with lower system costs.
