The LTC6930 series is a series of precision silicon oscillators with very low power. (Oscillator English: oscillator is an electronic component used to generate repeated electronic signals. The circuit is called an oscillating circuit. It can convert DC power to a certain frequency. There are many kinds of electronic circuits or devices for electrical signal output, which can be divided into self-excited oscillators and other oscillators according to the oscillation excitation mode, and the frequency error is less than 0.09%. For each oscillator, the user can select one of eight frequencies in the range of 32.768kHz to 8.192MHz. Depending on a fixed main oscillator frequency, the internal divider between 1 and 128 can provide 8 different frequencies. In addition to the power supply bypass capacitor, the LTC6930 does not require additional external components.
The LTC6930 features a proprietary control architecture that enables ultra-low power operation while maintaining industry-leading accuracy and jitter specifications. The excellent fast start-up time, combined with low power consumption, makes the device ideal for battery-powered applications with frequent power-up cycles. The device is shipped from any frequency in the range of 32.768kHz to 8.192MHz.
LTC6930 features: frequency error <0.09%, start-up time <110μs, 1.7V to 5.5V single supply operation, 105μA typical supply current (at 32kHz, V+=3V), 490μA typical supply current (at 8MHz, V+=3V)
Typical RMS (a scheduling algorithm with tasks assigned by monotonic rate priority, called monotonic rate scheduling. RMPA means that the priority of a task is allocated according to the task period T.
