Honeygrow proves that VR is not only for entertainment but also for cooking

Honeygrow is a chain restaurant specializing in cooking and salads. The company was established for 5 years and currently has a total of 17 stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware. The chain intends to expand to 25 stores by the end of this year. In order to be able to quickly train new employees and make all the stores' training standards and experience consistent, the restaurant chain intends to collaborate with VR company Klip on a VR project to train new employees.

Klip Company is using their art and technology to help new employees training and vegetable cultivation training at Honeygrow across the country. Justin Rosenberg, the founder of Honeygrow, said: “What you see is what you get. You can see how food is made. Because VR is fun, it keeps new employees attentive. The immersive experience can also prevent employees from being distracted. The VR demo also includes Rosenberg's own introduction and greetings. Honeygrow has long used VR technology for its custom menu panels.

Rosenberg stated that his goal is to distinguish his own restaurant from other peers through ingredients and local purchases.

He said: “There are already a lot of similar restaurants in Washington, and I don’t want to be a homogenized restaurant anymore. I want to do something different. I don’t know the technology that others use to cook or salad and During the ordering process, I do not know how we purchase."
