Toshiba Lighting Technology added four models in the company's LED bulb "E-CORE" series, which is about half the price of the company's existing products, "normal bulb type 6.9W" and "ordinary bulb type 4.1W". It is scheduled to be listed on July 15, 2009. In terms of price, 6.9W is 5,460 yen, and 4.1W is 5,250 yen. Compared with the company's existing product of 15,000 yen, "Ordinary bulb type 4.3W", the price has dropped by nearly half. The bulb has an outer diameter of 60 mm and a length of 109 mm and is substantially the same shape as an ordinary incandescent lamp. When used in a downlight type luminaire, the 6.9W model can achieve the brightness equivalent to a 60W incandescent lamp, and the 4.1W model can achieve the brightness equivalent to a 40W incandescent lamp. Available in bulb color and white color.



The lamp holder is E26 type, which can be used directly instead of ordinary incandescent lamp. The 4.1W model can also be used for closed lamps. However, neither the 6.9W nor the 4.1W models support dimmers. The rated power consumption is 6.9W and 4.1W respectively. The rated life is 40,000 hours. For the full luminous flux and maximum brightness, the 6.9W bulb color "LEL-AW6L/2" is 380lm and 91cd, and the 6.9W white "LEL-AW6N/2" is 565lm and 133cd. The 4.1W bulb type "LEL-AW4L/2" is 240lm and 59cd, and the 4.1W white "LEL-AW4N/2" is 340lm and 133cd. In terms of the average color rendering index (Ra), the bulb color is 80 and the white color is 70.



The weight is 140g. In 2009, the total sales volume of the four models was 500,000. Toshiba Lighting Technology also plans to launch high-power products with a brightness of about 6.9W 1.4 times in the fall of 2009, as well as products that can support dimmers.
