The sine wave phase modulator is divided into two types: direct phase modulation and indirect phase modulation. The direct phase modulation directly changes the parameters of the resonant circuit by using the modulated signal, so that the phase shift is generated when the carrier (acquired wave) signal passes through the loop to form a phase modulated wave. Indirect phase modulation firstly modulates the modulated wave and then transforms it into phase modulation.
