Design of CCTV monitoring system on campus

1. Background of campus monitoring project:

(1) CCTV monitoring and observation of the main teaching sites can increase the intuitiveness and objectivity of teaching evaluation, and can play an important role in the comprehensive management of teaching affairs. It has been proved to be an effective way to improve school teaching quality and teaching efficiency ;

(2) The modernization of the school must take into account its teaching information exchange function. Using the teaching TV monitoring system can realize the closed-circuit TV teaching in the school or the inter-school teaching exchange through the Internet;

(3) According to the internal security and technical precautions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, the use of TV monitoring systems in teaching buildings can ensure continuous monitoring of public places, ensure the safety of personal property in schools, and strengthen the management of public security on campus ;

Today's monitoring systems will develop in the direction of integration, computerization, multimedia, and networking to achieve the goal of comprehensive multi-function, intelligence, automatic, and remote transmission. The digital multimedia monitoring system is entirely based on the computer, using the latest digital video technology, field bus technology, and network communication technology to establish a new and complete multimedia monitoring system that combines software and hardware. By far, the most successful products in the application of digital technology to the monitoring field are devices such as hard disk recorders and remote monitoring systems. Recently, intelligent network cameras have emerged, which can use various standard networks to transmit real-time color images, such as Ethernet, local area network and wide area network, public telephone line switching network (PSTN), integrated data service network and cellular telephone network. It is small, but incorporates the structure of a standard PC, thereby achieving the image capture, compression, and transmission capabilities necessary to transmit real-time color images on various networks.

Combining the comprehensive situation of today's market and the development and processing capabilities of existing technologies, we have produced a new generation of multimedia monitoring system. Network monitoring and remote digital image transmission are equal to one advanced multimedia monitoring system.

Second, the basic composition of the TV monitoring system

In the CCTV monitoring system, the camera completes the task of real-time shooting of the scene in the monitored scene, and displays the captured images in real time with the help of the monitor. Therefore, the staff in the monitoring room displays on the monitor screen The screen has completed the monitoring of the on-site situation in the area under its jurisdiction. In practical applications, in order to save important historical data or in unattended occasions, it is sometimes necessary to record some or all of the scenes in real time in real time in order to provide materials for future teaching, which requires the use of a video recorder.

3. Digital remote monitoring image transmission system

In the CCTV monitoring system, the transmission of video signals mainly refers to the transmission from the front-end camera to the monitoring center. The flow of video signals in the transmission system is directed by the front-end camera to the control center, not like the cable TV network. The TV terminal that flows to each user through the cable TV station. From this point of view, the process of the TV monitoring system is exactly the opposite of the process of the cable TV network. Therefore, this has caused the TV monitoring system to have many specialities in signal transmission, which are different from or cannot be completely similar to the cable TV network.

In the local CCTV surveillance system, the distance from the front-end camera to the central control room is usually within 1km, so Most of the connections are directly connected by video cables.

In practical applications, such as distance learning, sometimes the distance from the front-end camera to the central control room may be far more than 1km. If video cables are still used to transmit image signals at this time, no order can be received on the monitoring screen at the central end. Satisfactory images can't even be received. If the distance is too far, or in a special area that is not suitable for wiring, the image transmission cannot be achieved through the video cable. At this time, you must use other transmission methods (such as LAN, telephone line transmission, microwave transmission, fiber optic transmission, etc.). Images from multiple scenes can be transmitted to multiple destination hosts.
