When it comes to helmet design, Greenwood explained that
"In principle, this helmet is just like Google Cardboard. It is an extra waterproof phone. We put the lens in a diving mask. It uses water as a focal length and uses the Samsung Galaxy Edge."
The "focal length" he refers to means that the special lens in the helmet uses the refraction of water to match the VR picture with the binocular alignment. In order to save costs, they use daily display screens to provide a large field of view, when the VR image will be distorted. In the helmet, the lens causes some distortion of the image, but the screen can be calibrated by relying on the water flowing into the helmet.
The helmet consists of a large amount of waterproof rubber, straps and a display screen, and the display can render proper VR content only when you are underwater.
