Li Yong, deputy manager of the Yibin Fulong Converter Station project in Sichuan, told the reporter on the 3rd that “20 large transformers have arrived at this station and are currently paying close attention to follow-up installations to ensure that the bipolar full-voltage transmission will be provided at the end of June to provide security for the Shanghai World Expo. , clean and reliable energy."
Xiangjiaba-Shanghai ±800 kV upward line began at Yibin Fulong Converter Station in Sichuan and ended at Fengxian Converter Station in Shanghai. The transmission distance was 1,907 kilometers, and passed through Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, Hubei, Anhui, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu. Shanghai's 8 provinces and cities, transmission power of 6.4 million kilowatts, transmission capacity of 6200-6400 megawatts, known as the "China's largest power high-speed channel." The project uses bipolar, per pole two 12-pulse converters in series connection, and the voltage configuration is “400 kV+400 kVâ€. The converter transformer has a maximum single capacity of 321 megavolt-ampere, uses a 6-inch thyristor converter valve, and has a capacity of 1.75 million kilowatts per inverter. The engineering dynamic investment is about 18 billion yuan. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2010. After completion, the annual transmission of electricity is about 30,500 million kwh, saving about 15 million tons of raw coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 25 million tons.
The project was started construction in December 2007. The line was completed in November 2009. The commissioning of electrification was successful in December of that year, and the low-end commissioning was successful in February 2010.
It is understood that during the World Expo, Shanghai will use more than 20 million kilowatts of electricity per day, and Sichuan will become the main power supply for the Expo. After the ±800 kV line-up project has achieved bipolar operation, it will be able to deliver 3 million kilowatts of power to Shanghai. During the peak period, Sichuan's electricity delivered to Shanghai through UHV can account for one-third of Shanghai's electricity consumption, which will ease the strain on Shanghai's electricity consumption and make Shanghai the world's largest "green" city.
Li Wenhua, deputy director of the Yibin Development and Reform Bureau and executive deputy director of the UHV Office, said that “At present, the government of Yibin County is making every effort to ensure the safety of large-scale transformer transportation, stepping up land acquisition for supporting lines, maintaining the order of surrounding construction, and ensuring bipolar full-pressure operation by the end of June. The Shanghai World Expo provides safe, clean and reliable electricity."
